INTEGRATIVE ENERGY HEALING [IEH]

Healing Treatments are offered both individually or for couples in the Vancouver studio or remotely over the phone.  Through awareness dialogue, breathing techniques, and therapeutic touch, the chakras are activated and energy blocks are opened to increase energy flow and balance.

What to expect in your Integrative Energy Healing Treatment:
The healing process is initiated with you answering a short questionnaire via email before your session.  By answering thoughtful questions you set a solid intention and focus for your healing treatment.  We discuss your answers at the beginning of the session and then a guided calming meditation to ground, align, and open your flow of energy.  For the bio-field work you’ll be reclined or seated to receive healing light touch.  If it’s a remote healing over the phone I will guide you to use your own hands to work with your chakras.  This relaxing process enables the intelligence of your body and nervous system to heal itself by engaging your parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation response) and disengaging the fight flight sympathetic system (stress response).  In conclusion we debrief, homework assign, and close with an individualized affirmation.  You will receive a session summary the following day to reflect on and continue your healing journey on your own.

Couple’s Energy Healing is a gentle and non-invasive way to connect on a deeper level with your partner through touch, intention, and energy.  The session starts with a guided meditation to open the energy in your chakras and human energy field.  Then you will be guided to give and receive a healing treatment with your partner using healing touch at each of the 7 chakras.  While you have your hands on your partner, I will gently coach you to share with your partner what you are noticing. This process is called somatic experiencing and can open up new states of awareness and consciousness in yourself and your relationship.  After you both receive healing from each other we finish the session with savasana (yoga relaxation) laying on your backs side by side to integrate the experience.

More on what IEH is all about

A healing approach that combines ancient Eastern traditions and recent Western scientific discoveries to balance and align the person as a whole based on the seven major chakras and the electro-magnetic bio-field.  Chakras are the energy centers that coincide with organs and glands and metabolize energy.  The human brain has two halves; one rational, analytic, and linear, the other more intuitive and holistic.  While medical doctors work out of their left brain by analyzing data, making diagnoses, and prescribing drugs, energy healing relies more on the function of the nonverbal and intuitive right brain.

Eastern yogic views of self and soul are paired with subtle energy healing techniques to enhance health and overall well-being.  In ancient societies the preferred medical model has been holistic and both tribal and eastern healers traditionally diagnose disease as a disturbance in a person’s mind, body, and spirit.  The flow of chi or prana is the invisible life-force or universal energy that flows through all of us and is the key to healing physically, spiritually, and emotionally.  When our vital energy body is healthy, pain is manageable and homeostasis is acquired.

Through awareness dialogue, breathing techniques, and therapeutic touch, the chakras are activated, and energy blocks are opened to increase energy flow and balance in the body.  Opening the flow of energy in the body enhances the immune system and opens the world of spirit.  Guided meditation and somatic experiencing is used to navigate through and release traumas that are held in the nervous system.  When the parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) is engaged (this is the relaxing and healing division of the autonomic nervous system) the trauma feels safe enough to emerge and therefore be released.  Holistic healing is a non-invasive and gentle approach that empowers the client to heal themselves.  This is a non-religious practice and the practitioner uses light touch on, under, and a few inches off the body while the client is clothed and seated or reclined on a treatment table if the session is in the studio.  In remote sessions over the phone you will be guided to use your hands for the bio-field work.
